Description: This layer represents the Total Emissions recorded in Abu Dhabi Emirate for the year 2022. Emissions were allocated to a standardised 1km by 1km grid across Abu Dhabi. This allows aggregation of emissions across sectors to give total emissions per grid cell. The emissions assigned to each grid cell represent the sum of the emissions from the points, lines or polygons falling within that grid cell. For line and polygon sources, where the line or polygon is shared across 2 or more grid cells, each grid cell is assigned a share of the emissions from the source feature corresponding to the proportion of the length/area of the line/polygon falling in each grid cell.
