<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This layer represents the Coral Monitoring Stations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Temperature and the Coral percentage cover are measured as part of the Monitoring activity. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Under water Temperature loggers at the Stations record hourly readings and are sourced twice an Year in Summer and Winter Seasons. Data from the loggers is retrieved using Hoboware Software and updated in the Environmental Database at EAD.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Coral Percentage Cover is assessed through Line Transects of 20m at 1m interval. Attributes like Live Cover, Dead Cover, Bleaching, Disease, Urchins/Other, Sand/Rubble present in 1 sq.m are recorded along the 20m transect. The Survey is conducted in Summer and Winter Seasons every year typically in the months of April and October/November.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
