Since 2005, EAD has operated a groundwater monitoring network comprising more than 1,100 wells, of which 271 are equipped with groundwater sensors. In addition, the National Drilling Company’s U.S. Geological Survey (NDC-USGS) groundwater research programme contains more than 600 wells. Data collected from these wells is utilised for groundwater research management. Salinity Calculation: 1119 wells used in calculation of Salinity. 271 Monitoring wells have Sensors, rest of the readings are captured manually from the wells. Level Change and Depth : Data from 700 Wells has been used in calculation of Level change and depth. |
