NILU OR (08/2018), Kjeller, NorwayEmissions associated with shipping activities at the ports in Abu Dhabi Emirate are estimated based on the method suggested by US EPA (2009), combined with the recommendations from EMEP/EEA (2016) and the methodology employed in the development of a bottom-up emission inventory for the Port of Oslo (López-Aparicio et al., 2017). The geographical information was proposed by NILU and accepted by EAD. The shipping emission was split under different mode of operations (cruising, maneuvering and berthing) for different ports. |
