Description: A detail description of emission inventory for Abu Dhabi Emirate is reported in López-Aparicio S., Thorne R.J., Bartonova A., Teixido O., Mohamed R. (2018) Air Pollutants Emissions Inventory, Abu Dhabi Emirate 2015. NILU OR (08/2018), Kjeller, NorwayFor NOx, CO and SO2, emission data was obtained from each power plant operator by regular communication to EAD. Emissions are provided in quarterly reports that contain the results of the Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) system (or grab data) installed in each major emission source. Due to lack of other data, emissions for Mirfa Power Plant were sourced from SCAD (2016). NMVOC, PM2.5 and PM10 emissions were calculated according to the guidelines from EMEP/EEA (2016). Emissions are spatially distribute as point sources based on the geographical location of each power plant.
