 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Satellite-derived habitat mapping of marine areas was conducted using Sentinel -2 10m resolution satellite imagery. The imagery was acquired between 01/12/2018 and 20/06/2020. Automated and semi-automated image processing techniques along with cartographic generalization principles, local ground truthing, and ecological knowledge were used to derive the Marine Habitats. Habitat Areas were calculated using UTM39N and UTM40N. Sentinel-2 imagery with its deep blue band has enabled the mapping of Marine Habitats like Seagrasses, Coral Reefs, and macroalgal communities to be mapped with greater accuracy.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
